The Challenge
Heavy dark millwork and a mismatched furniture set made a well-proportioned room feel closed in and dim.

A brighter, softer family room without renovating the built-ins.
The Design Direction
Refinished millwork, a cream sectional, clay textiles and a layered lighting plan lifted the entire room within the existing architecture.
