The Challenge
The room was the heart of the home but never felt finished. Dated flooring, a flat feature wall and furniture pushed to the perimeter left the space echoing and impersonal.
The Vision
The clients wanted new floors and wainscotting, with a layout that could hold family movie nights and still feel polished when guests arrive.
The Design Direction
We anchored the room with warm oak flooring, added a full-height wainscotting wall in a soft taupe, then floated the seating on a natural fibre rug so conversation replaced the television as the focus.
The Transformation
A calm, grounded living room with defined architecture, layered lighting and seating that finally suits how the family actually lives.
